Hull City have parted company with sporting director Jared Dublin in a surprising move by the Tigers. The American spent less than two years at the MKM Stadium having arrived to replace Lee Darnbrough as head of recruitment at the Tigers.
Dublin had been expected to oversee City’s transfer plan for their return to the Premier League, but now leaves with immediate effect with City issuing a brief 47 word statement that confirmed his exit.
The statement reads; ” Hull City has parted company with Sporting Director Jared Dublin with immediate effect. The club would like to thank Jared for his efforts throughout his time at Hull City, particularly for his contribution to our promotion to the Premier League, and wish him well for the future.”
The Tigers will now be on the lookout for a new recruitment head or sporting director, title depending, having now said goodbye to two people in that role inside two years.
