It’s 91 days since the Tigers’ Wembley win, and their Premier League campaign starts here on the biggest stage of all with excitement at fever pitch.
The big kick-off is finally here, the waiting is over, and today, Hull City’s Premier League campaign kicks off a decade on from their last adventure into English football’s top-flight.
And as first games of a top-flight season go, the visit of Manchester United to the MKM Stadium could hardly be any bigger, with a sold-out crowd expecting a thrilling opener.
The world will be watching, and with more than 300 members of the world’s media in attendance at the MKM Stadium, City will be desperate to put on a positive show and get their campaign underway in style. It’s the first competitive game since the play-off semi-final first leg draw with Millwall, and it promises to be quite an occasion.
