‘Keep windows and doors shut’

Humberside Fire and Rescue Service have confirmed they are still on the scene after a fire started on Reservoir Road, Hull.
In an update, the fire service said: “We received multiple calls on 11 August (yesterday) to a large waste fire at a commercial business on Reservoir Road, Hull. Crews arrived within four minutes to the fire well established and we have been tackling the blaze all night.
“We are currently still on scene and continue to tackle the incident. We advise residents to avoid the area and to keep windows and doors shut. Please only call Control if you have a genuine emergency.”
Earlier this morning, Humberside Police confirmed a road closure remains in place. A Humberside Police spokesperson said: “Please be aware that the road closure on Clough Road, between Bank Side roundabout and Starbucks, will remain in place throughout the day whilst Humberside Fire & Rescue continue to deal with the incident on Reservoir Road.”
