Hull City have less than three weeks to complete their summer business. Sergej Jakirovic’s side are preparing for their first Premier League season in a decade but there is still work to be done in the transfer window.

The Tigers, who beat Middlesbrough in last season’s Championship play-off final to seal their return to the top flight, have signed seven players so far this summer, spending a little more than £30million in the process.

Jack Butland, Matt Targett, Oscar Zambrano, Hidemasa Morita, Konstantinos Tzolakis, Jens Hjertø-Dahl and Elliot Stroud have arrived through the MKM Stadium doors. However, there is a feeling that Hull are nowhere near finished and want to bring in at least five more players before the September 1 deadline.

A deal to sign Rayo Vallecano defender Nobel Mendy has been agreed but the player is awaiting his UK Visa it can be announced, while Lucas Herrington’s move from Colorado Rapids could be announced this morning. Leon Bailey, Joe Gelhardt and Zan Vipotnik are among the others eyed by the Tigers.
