Barrie died peacefully in hospital on 29 October 2026, aged 91, following a short illness. Father, grandad, great grandad and a friend to so many, a celebration of Barrie’s life will take place at The Goodfellowship, Cottingham Road, Hull, on Tuesday 8 December from 3:00pm.
