JJez Litten has dismissed rumours linking him with a shock exit from Hull KR at the end of the 2026 Super League season.

The England international’s name has been circulating on social media amid claims he could make a sensational return to Hull FC from 2027 onwards.

But Litten has shrugged off the speculation and insisted he is going nowhere, with the livewire hooker contracted to the Robins until the end of the 2029 season.

The 27-year-old admitted he had seen the rumours, with up to 10 people also messaging him, before putting them firmly to bed.

Litten began his Super League career with Hull FC, making his debut against Warrington Wolves in 2017.

He went on to make 18 appearances for the Black and Whites before making the cross-city switch to Hull KR.

Since then, Litten has established himself as a key figure at Sewell Group Craven Park, making close to 200 appearances for the Robins.

He played an influential role in Hull KR’s historic treble-winning campaign in 2025 before helping the club lift the World Club Challenge against Brisbane Broncos in February.

Litten has also won four England caps to date and was part of the squad for last year’s home Ashes series.

But despite the speculation over his future, the hooker says there is nothing to it.

“It’s all rumours. I don’t know who started it, but there’s been a few rumours going about this year that have blown up,” Litten told All Out Rugby League.

“I can put that one to bed.

“I had about 10 people send it to me. We’ve had a few (rumours) this year, and other clubs have well. Fair play to whoever started it because it got everyone on it.”

The latest speculation comes after rumours also surfaced over Elliot Minchella’s future at Hull KR.

Those claims have also been dismissed, with Minchella’s agent categorically denying talk of an early exit to Bradford Bulls – or any other Super League club.

The Hull KR captain, like Litten, is contracted to the club until the end of the 2029 season.
