Hull City are pushing to secure a deal to sign exciting Olympiacos youngster Christos Mouzakitis before tonight’s transfer deadline passes.
That’s according to Pete O’Rourke, who claims the club have agreed a €15m deal for the midfielder, who is regarded as one of young talents on the continent after excelling in the Greek Super League from a young age.
The 19-year-old is the current holder of the European Golden Boy Web award, a fan voted prize which runs alongside the prestigious Golden Boy award, and despite his age, he has already made 76 appearances in all competitions for Olympiacos.
The deal for Mouzakitis comes on what promises to be a hectic day for the Tigers, with the potential for six deals to be completed.

Ilyas Ansah has already been announced with the striker making the move from Union Berlin for an undisclosed fee. Robinio Vaz, Tim Iroegbunam and Brooke Norton-Cuffy are also thought to be close to completion with medicals taking place.
The Tigers are still confident of landing Sorba Thomas as well, with Mouzakitis now potentially on top.
The midfielder made his Olympiacos debut in 2024 and he has been a regular in the side ever since, demonstrating his potential and helping the club to a league title and the Greek Cup.
He made his debut for the Greece national team in the same year and as it stands he currently has 11 caps for his country, with his last caps coming in June with appearances against Italy and Sweden.
Mouzakitis operates as a centre-midfielder with passing and intelligence in the middle seen to be his main strengths. Of course, the Tigers have already invested heavily in their midfield this summer and if the deal comes to fruition, he would be joining the likes of Hidemasa Morita, Jens Hjerto-Dahl and Lucas Gourna-Douath in making the switch to the MKM Stadium.
He would also join compatriot Konstantinos Tzolakis, who he knows well from Olympiacos.
