Speculation over Elliot Minchella’s Hull KR future has been put to bed after his agent categorically denied talk of a move to Bradford Bulls – or any other Super League club.
Rumours had grown in recent days that the loose forward could make a move to hometown club Bradford Bulls for 2027 and beyond.
However, Minchella’s agent, Graeme Taylor, has categorically denied those claims, insisting that no conversations have taken place regarding an early exit for the 30-year-old.
Minchella is contracted to Hull KR until the end of the 2029 Super League season, having signed an extended deal with the club in December 2024.
The forward previously played for Bradford between 2018 and 2019, featuring in League 1 and the Championship respectively. He scored 47 tries in 62 appearances for the Bulls before moving to Hull KR.
Minchella has since made more than 160 appearances for the Robins and was appointed club captain ahead of the 2024 season, succeeding Shaun Kenny-Dowall.
He led Rovers to their greatest-ever season, winning the treble in 2025 with the Challenge Cup, League Leaders’ Shield and Super League glory before lifting the World Club Challenge trophy with a dramatic victory over NRL champions Brisbane Broncos in February.
Minchella is set to remain at Sewell Group Craven Park, with no discussions taking place over an early departure.
Meanwhile, Nathan Cayless is set to succeed Willie Peters as Hull KR head coach at the end of the season, making the move from Parramatta Eels’ New South Wales Cup outfit on a three-year deal.
Hull Live understands that, as things stand, the Robins are also not pursuing a deal for NRL prolific try-scorer Josh Addo-Carr.
