Some of the nation’s best darts players will be in action at the Spa next month

Darts fans rejoice! The British Open will return to Bridlington Spa in September. The longest-running darts championship in the world has found its home at “the Spa” for more than 20 years and gives locals and people from further afield the chance to take part in the world ranking championship. The Championship, which began in 1973, runs from Friday, September 18 to Sunday, September 20 and attracts around 1,000 competitors from the UK and Europe. The tournament includes categories for men, ladies, and youth boys and girls.
This event, held in conjunction with the Tri-Nations Darts, offers qualification opportunities towards the 2026 WDF World Championships at Lakeside Country Club in Surrey later this year.
The Championships will begin on Friday afternoon, with The England International Men’s Trial, followed by The British Open Pairs on Friday evening. Saturday is the busiest day of the weekend, with the British Classic Men’s and Ladies, the British Open Youth, and the World Para darts British Open. Sunday will feature the British Open Men’s and Ladies, followed by the grand finals, broadcast live worldwide.
Spectator tickets are available from the box office at Bridlington Spa across the weekend or online. Tickets are free for the Friday, while tickets for the Saturday and Sunday are priced at £10 per day. Under 12s entry is free all weekend, and weekend tickets are also available upon request.

I would encourage darts enthusiasts to come along and watch the world class sporting action at our iconic location and experience a fantastic atmosphere.”
