The Robins had more than enough to see off Catalans Dragons

Hull KR claimed their fourth Super League win on the bounce as they beat Catalans Dragons 28-10 at Craven Park.
The Robins scored five tries to record what turned out to be a hard fought win over the Dragons and keep up the pace for a spot in the top four.
Full-back Jack Broadbent scored two on the night for Willie Peters’ side with other efforts coming from Jez Litten and Joe Burgess in the first half.
Tyrone May scored KR’s only try in what was a sloppy second half for the hosts, powering over from close range and that was enough to secure the win.
Catalans scored two tries of their own, through Charlie Staines and Tommy Makinson, but they failed to really ask too many more stern questions of the east Hull outfit.
Ultimately then, KR remain fifth in Super League, two points behind Warrington Wolves, who head to Craven Park on Tuesday night.
The Robins started fast at Craven Park and they got their reward with just eight minutes on the clock. Keeping it alive through the middle well, Rovers looked right and found the run of Broadbent, who sliced through the Dragons’ line superbly to touch down under the sticks.
Rovers kept their foot on the gas and they found a second as Elliot Minchella cut against the grain to open up the gap and put Litten through a gap and over from 20 metres out.
And, with the home side ticking along at a point a minute, Broadbent grabbed another try. This time the full-back capitalised on Peta Hiku’s break through a gaping hole in the middle with the former New Zealand international finding his supporting run on his outside shoulder.
Catalans hit back with the try of the game as Charlie Staines made the most of a poor kick and lapse defence to duck, dive and weave his way through the KR line and finish from 80m.
But the visitors couldn’t build on that and as they discipline deserted them, Burgess found the space to finish acrobatically in the corner just before the break.
The second half started slow, with both sides struggling to build up any real momentum and it continued as KR invited unnecessary pressure. However, Catalans couldn’t make them pay for their errors and ultimately, May got over to score KR’s fifth and effectively wrap up the two points.
Leo Darrelatour scythed through the Rovers line in order to lay the platform for Catalans’ second, scored by Makinson, but it wasn’t enough to change the result as KR enter this gruelling run of three games in nine days with a win.
