Hull City’s frantic summer of transfer business is well underway after completing the signing of Rangers’ No.1 Jack Butland and moving out a host of other players.
Ivor Pandur went the other way to Ibrox, while Akin Famewo has moved to Bolton Wanderers. A couple of young players have also left the club, with Kasey Palmer set to join Luton Town on Friday.
Excitement continues to build ahead of the new Premier League campaign, and with plenty happening, the 1904 Club had a chat with City legend Michael Turner.
‘Turns’ played a key role in City winning promotion to the top-flight for the first time at Wembley in 2008, and was under the arch again back in May when he watched Oli McBurnie turn in the stoppage-time winner against Middlesbrough.
In this latest episode, Michael gives his assessment of where City are, what they need to do in the market and an insight into how the players will be feeling as they get ready to start pre-season training on Monday week.
