Hull City have enjoyed arguably the greatest month in their proud and storied history over the past few weeks, which culminated in Monday’s parade across the city to celebrate promotion to the Premier League.
From beating Norwich City at the start of the month on the final day of the season to clinch a play-off place, to overcoming Millwall in the semi-final and then winning at Wembley in the Championship play-off final at the weekend, May will surely go down as a sensational period for the Tigers.
City‘s players were then treated to a glorious bus parade and civic reception at City Hall in the blistering heat on Monday, as Sergej Jakirovic’s players and staff were given a heroes’ welcome.
Promotion to the Premier League is a life-changing event for the club and city, and in the latest episode of the 1904 Club, the panel reflect on the most special of weekends for the club and begin the discussions of what happens next with this squad ahead of their first game back in the Premier League.
