The Bulls are set for some big returns.

Bradford Bulls are set to welcome back as many as five players to their side for Sunday’s Super League clash against Hull FC.

The Bulls have endured a crippling injury list of late, training at one stage with just 15 available players. However, things are now easing up, with a quintet of players all back in the fold and available for selection once again.

In total, Eribe Doro, Jayden Nikorima, Luke Hooley, Waqa Blake, and former Hull player Jayden Okunbor could all return to a Bulls side looking to end a run of five straight defeats.

“The week off has given us an opportunity to get back on the training field, work on some things we needed to work on from the first 10 weeks of Super League and get some bodies back,” Haggerty said in his pre-match press conference.

“We have used the time well, prepping for this game in particular. We are getting there, slowly – when I go in the treatment room now there’s not 14 people in, it’s 8-10. That does help a little bit. We are nearly getting up around 20 at training now.”

Meanwhile, former Hull FC outside back Connor Wynne is determined to kick on at Bradford after signing a new deal at the club.

The Hull-born winger or centre has made nine appearances for the Bulls this year, scoring five tries. He is set to feature against the Black and Whites once again on Sunday afternoon, having scored two tries against them in the Super League opener back in February.

Wynne has impressed on the right wing for Kurt Haggerty’s side and now has his future secured until the end of the 2027 season, having signed a one-year extension.

Speaking on his new deal, Wynne said: “It’s a really good feeling to have signed again. I feel like I have had a good start but I want to push on even more now. There’s plenty more from me to come and it’s really exciting to sign for next year. The hard work continues.

“I was probably the most nervous I’ve ever been coming into the team against Hull FC; it was a good start and I’ve just got to do what I have to do to either get back in the team or keep myself in the team.

“I am really happy here; I was having a little chat with Nobby [Brian Noble] the other day about happiness and when you’re at your happiest, you’re playing well.”
