Hull City’s fixture list for the Premier League came out in mid-June, and it instantly whetted the appetite for the new season, which is quickly coming into view.
City’s sensational promotion at Wembley back in May sees them return to the top flight for the first time in a decade, and they’ll get it all underway against Manchester United on August 22.
The MKM Stadium has long since sold out for the visit of the Red Devils, which will be broadcast in front of the television cameras, with the game kicking off at 12:30pm.
That was the first of many games City can expect to be moved to accommodate television broadcasts this season, with more games than ever shown live across Sky Sports and TNT, as well as a host of overseas broadcasters.
Fans can expect numerous games to be shifted owing to the number of teams playing in Europe this season. No fewer than nine clubs will be involved across the three European competitions, and with the Europa League and Conference League games taking place mainly on a Thursday night, City can expect games against those teams to be moved to a Sunday afternoon.
Once the full schedule for the group stages of those respective competitions has been released in the near future, fans can expect a flurry of games being rearranged.
The other thing to consider is what matches will be picked by Sky Sports and TNT, though last season, they opted to put a lot of the teams involved in the Europa League on live.

The football authorities, in an attempt to give fans more notice about matches being moved, have created a timeline of when those games will be announced.
Here’s a look at when fans can expect to find out when Premier League games on TV will be released
- Games 6-9 in October: Week commencing August 24, 2026
- Games 10-12 in November: Week commencing September 21, 2026
- Games 13-20 in December: Week commencing October 19, 2026
- Games 21-23 in January: Week commencing November 30, 2026
- Games 24-27 in February: Week commencing December 21, 2026
- Games 28-30 in March: Week commencing January 18, 2027
- Games 31-33 in April: Week commencing February 22, 2027
- Game 34 in April/May: Week commencing March 22, 2027
- Game 35 in May: Week commencing March 29, 2027
- Game 36 in May: Week commencing April 5, 2027
- Game 37 in May: After the FA Cup semi-finals
- Game 38 in May: Ahead of the final game of the season
