
Police are appealing for witnesses
A cyclist was seriously injured in a crash with a car in Pocklington. The incident happened on the B1247 at around 4.45pm on Monday (June 15).
Humberside Police say the collision involving a red Dacia Sandero and a grey electric-assisted cycle happened close to the roundabout junction of The Balk and Station Road. A spokesperson said: “The cyclist, a 58-year-old man, was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries which are thought to be life changing at this time.
“Enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances around the collision, and we would urge anyone with any information or dashcam from around the time it is believed to have occurred, to please contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 318 of 15 June.”
