The pizza giant could soon open a new East Riding takeaway
Plans for a new Papa John’s pizza takeaway have been submitted to East Riding Council. The plans have been submitted by Haven who are seeking to increase the food offering at their Thornwick Bay Holiday Park, near Flamborough.
Submitted plans say the application represents Haven’s commitment to investing in and enhancing their facilities. It is said the plans could help “meet the expectations of guests and maintain the level of tourists to the area.”
The holiday park sits around half a kilometre North of Flamborough on the East Yorkshire coast. The park’s website explains there are already a number of food options including a Chopstix noodle bar.

The Papa John’s would act only as a takeaway and would service holiday makers. Plans say the unit would be located next to the existing restaurants, ensuring “the variety of food options for holidaymakers are concentrated in one place.”
Within the unit would be a small area for customers to order and collect their food. The main entrance would be to the south, facing an existing footpath.
The planning application was verified by the council on March 6. It will now be decided upon by either council officers or elected councillors.
