Part of the A63 in East Yorkshire has been closed after a lorry hit a bridge, Humberside Police said.
Officers were called to the Dale Road bridge in Elloughton at about 15:00 BST on Monday.
The force said Dale Road is closed at the junction with Welton Low Road, as well as the Elloughton westbound slip road and the A63 eastbound at the South Cave junction “to allow emergency services to work safely”.
Motorist have been advised to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
