Hull FC have confirmed that 10 first-team players will leave the club at the end of the season.

Hull FC have confirmed that ten first-team players will leave the club at the end of the season, including long-serving prop Brad Fash.
Fash, celebrating his testimonial year in 2026, will move on to pastures new in 2027 after an 11-year and 203-game stint at the Black and Whites. The boyhood FC fan was out of contract at the end of the current season and will depart alongside fellow prop forwards Ligi Sao and Hugo Salabio.
Sao, one of the club’s longest-serving overseas players of the Super League era, made a World Cup final appearance for Samoa against Australia while at Hull and departs after seven seasons with the club. Salabio moves on after two.
Elsewhere, 2026 half-back recruit Jake Arthur has been released from the second year of his contract and will leave the club at the end of the season. He is expected to join Huddersfield Giants.
Young squad members Ben Johnson and Roman Dawson, both out of contract at the end of the season, will also leave the club. Johnson made his senior debut against Leigh back in May, while Dawson, yet to make his senior debut, is set to play in Australia next season.
The club have also confirmed that Jed Cartwright will not return to Hull following his loan spell with St Helens over recent months.
As confirmed earlier this month, Davy Litten will join Wakefield Trinity next season, while Amir Bourouh will link up with Catalans Dragons. The club has stated that they received a ‘significant six-figure fee’ for Litten, who was under contract at the Black and Whites.
Elsewhere, Tom Briscoe will retire, as confirmed on Thursday night, bringing the curtain down on an outstanding 19-year career.
Reserves players Elliot Middlemas and Jon Turner have also been released.
Aidan Sezer, who has been heavily linked with a departure and move to York Knights, is not on Hull’s released list, neither is Cade Cust, who has also been speculated to be leaving the club.
Meanwhile, the club have also confirmed that young back row forward Lennon Clark has signed a one-year deal, as first reported by Hull Live last month.
Although not confirmed, Yusuf Aydin is also understood to have a signed a new deal, as hinted at earlier this year. The forward’s current deal expires at the end of the season.
In a statement, Hull FC wrote: “The club would like to thank all of their departing players for their efforts, and wish them all well for their futures – their names will proudly sit upon our heritage board forevermore.”
