Tevita Pangai Junior is set for another extended spell on the sidelines after copping three separate charges by the Match Review Panel following Hull KR ’s defeat to Warrington Wolves.
The prop forward has received a total four-match suspension for three separate incidents during the rearranged Round 2 fixture at Sewell Group Craven Park.
Pangai Junior, 30, has been hit with two Grade A charges for late contact on a passer, alongside a Grade B charge for the same offence.
He will be free to face Toulouse Olympique this weekend, with the suspensions not set to be effective until Round 25.
It means he will miss the remainder of the regular Super League season, as well as the potential opening play-off match for the Robins.
The former NRL forward had only recently marked his return from a six-match ban following an incident with Leeds Rhinos’ Jake Connor, while he only made the switch to Hull KR midway through the year following a short stint in rugby union in France.
He has been limited to just five appearances under Willie Peters, and is off-contract at the end of 2026 Super League season.
Mikey Lewis has also received a two-match ban for a Grade C dangerous contact charge following an incident with opposition half-back Ewan Irwin.
Lewis, who was marking his return from a four-match suspension against Warrington, was sent to the sin-bin after leaping to charge down a kick from Irwin and making contact.
Sam Luckley has also been charged with a Grade A late contact on a passer, with a total penalty points of 2.75.
No charges have been handed to Warrington Wolves following their 34-28 victory.
