Hull KR will be without at least one player through injury on Thursday when they take on Hull FC at the MKM Stadium.
The Robins were well beaten on Saturday by Warrington Wolves and the loss came at a price in terms of personnel, too, with a couple of players leaving the field through injury.
Noah Booth left the field in the second half after taking a blow to the head and he went on to fail a HIA at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, according to Willie Peters.
As per concussion protocols, Booth, who was in the side for Joe Burgess, will not be involved against Hull, with a change in the outside backs required.
However, there is some concern about Sauaso Sue, too, with the prop leaving the action early in the game and failing to return.
Sue looked uncomfortable on the sidelines and without ruling the forward out of the derby, Peters confirmed he has been struggling with an issue.
“He’s had an ankle problem last week and he’s carried it into this game so we just need to see. We have to have a look at it,” Peters said on Sue.
“As far as I know Noah failed his HIA.”
Dean Hadley, Arthur Mourgue and Tom Amone returned to the side on Saturday after lay-offs and while Peters did claim the Hadley had a stomach concern as he left the field, he was delighted to see Mourgue emerge unscathed.
“He had a bit of a stomach issue. He could have kept going but Dean, you’ve got to drag him off. I just thought it was right to take him off,” Peters said.
“Arthur was the positive, he got through. It was great to see him be able to play 80 minutes and get through a game because he’s very important to what we do and he’s had an unlucky season in terms of injuries.”
Jai Whitbread was left out of Saturday’s clash with the forward being named as 18th man, but that was purely down to selection.
“He knows,” Peters added when asked what Whitbread must do to get back in the team. “I always give players feedback on what they need to work on and he’s seeking feedback which is good.
“We’re better for having Jai in the team but players need to know at the moment that they’re on notice and they need to make sure they’re consistent with performances.
“So when you have the pack at the moment that we’ve got to choose from, there’s some players that are going to miss out. Some players probably feel their position is safe. You always want to have people coming through that are going to put pressure on them.”
