Hull KR prop Tevita Pangai-Junior out of Hull FC clash after copping monster ban

The Hull KR prop has been handed a huge ban.

Hull KR forward Tevita Pangai-Junior has been handed a SIX-match ban following an incident with Jake Connor in Friday’s defeat to Leeds Rhinos.

Pangai-Junior has copped a Grade F charge for Eye Gouging and has received 36 penalty points, outing his total to 38.75 points. He has also been fined.

The prop forward has only recently joined Rovers, but will miss over half of their remaining regular season games, starting with Saturday’s Magic Weekend derby against Hull FC.

Elsewhere, Sam Wood has been handed a two match suspension after picking up a Grade D dangerous contact charge.

Catalans Dragons also have two bans, with Guillermo Auspiro-Bichet banned for two games and Franck Maria for one.
