Hull FC are without 15 players for Saturday’s game against Huddersfield.
Hull FC have been dealt a fresh injury blow, with Cade Cust ruled out of Saturday’s Super League clash against Huddersfield Giants.
Cust has picked up a shoulder injury, with the Aussie taking Hull’s injury list up to 15. Zak Hardaker is also ruled out, with the centre failing his HIA at Warrington Wolves last week and also hurting his neck in the process.
In come Jed Cartwright, who is named for the first time since injuring his hamstring at the end of February. He declared himself fit for last week’s game but wasn’t deemed 100% fit by interim head coach Andy Last – a decision which brought comment from former head coach John Cartwright.
New loan signing Max Wood is also included and set to make his Black and Whites debut, joining the club for the next month. Fellow loan forwards Jeremiah Mata’utia and Ethan O’Neill are included.
Will Hutchinson retains his place and could replace Cust in the matchday 17.
Meanwhile, Cust and Hardaker are two of 15 players unavailable for Hull due to injury and suspensions. The side are also without Will Pryce (ACL), Davy Litten (knee), Lewis Martin (ankle), John Asiata (hamstring), James Bell (knee), Sam Lisone (pec), Ligi Sao (shoulder), Connor Bailey (collarbone), Arthur Romano (ankle), Brad Fash (knee), and Joe Ward (ACL). Yusuf Aydin and Roman Dawson are suspended and each have four games to serve.
