Hull City have confirmed Oxen as their new kit supplier in what is a lucrative new deal with the local firm established in the city’s Fruit Market area.
Oxen will supply the home and away strips, training range and leisure clothing on a multi-year deal and will replace Kappa, who have provided the club’s kits since the beginning of the 2023/24 campaign.
As well as confirming Oxen as the club’s technical partner, the Tigers have also revealed a striking new home strip which will go on sale on Friday morning both in-store and online from 9am.
The traditional strip is a nod to the 1978/79 campaign, when the club finished eighth in the old Division Three, but their latest outfit will be seen across the globe as the Tigers embark on their first Premier League campaign in a decade. It also boasts the HCAFC lettering for the first time in 47 years, instead of the usual club badge.

“We’re incredibly excited to be beginning this journey with OXEN as our official kit partner,” Tigers chief operating officer Joe Clutterbrook said. “With their roots in Hull, and a strong affinity for the club already, we know OXEN is a partner that will place our supporters and the heritage of Hull City right at the centre of everything they deliver for us. “As an upcoming brand, I genuinely believe OXEN are the ideal fit for us.
“The quality of their products, agility of logistical support and freedom they give to their partner clubs, set a perfect platform for us to deliver some great ranges in the coming years. I’m excited for our supporters to see what comes next and help us develop this partnership together. Working with an upcoming brand with ambitious growth plans, especially one formed in our city, really is the definition of ‘One Family, One Dream’.”
Meanwhile, Tigers fan and chief executive at Oxen, Lee Jenkinson, admitted his delight at securing Premier League City to their growing group of clubs, which also includes newly-promoted Lincoln City and Rugby League outfit Hull KR.
“We’re delighted to welcome the Tigers to the OXEN family,” he said. “OXEN is a brand born in the creative heart of Hull, so we are incredibly proud to secure our second major club in the city. “Whilst OXEN continues to grow at both sides of the world, this one is personal for me.
“As a former Hull City season ticket holder, who also lived in the spiritual home of the club at Boothferry Park after its redevelopment, naturally, we are delighted to bring the OXEN brand home again. “We pride ourselves on the service we offer our partners, the quality of our products, and the strength of our supply chain. Just as importantly, we give clubs the creative freedom to design kits that tell stories, one that truly resonates with fans.
“That is at the heart of everything we do. “We can’t wait for supporters to get the products in their hands, see what we’re all about, and be part of what comes next as we build this journey together.”
The club’s home kit will go on sale without a shirt sponsor, which has been Corendon Airlines in recent seasons, but the club’s front of shirt sponsor for the new campaign will be confirmed in due course.
City’s first top-flight outing of the new strip will come in late August, and fans will get to find out who that will come against on Friday week when the Premier League fixtures are released.
