Many in Hull will be hoping the football feel-good factor will continue in the city after a massive year for the Tigers

Hull city centre is set to host a World Cup 2026 fan park to cheer on England during this summer’s tournament.
So far, 2026 has been a massive year for football in the area with the Tigers roaring back to the Premier League after Hull City secured promotion last month. That feel-good spirit can, hopefully, continue with the World Cup fan park being ideal for cheering on England in the men’s competition.
At Princes Quay, PQ Event Space Football Fanzone will be screening the Three Lions in action. You will be able to watch England’s three group stage games, against Croatia, Ghana and Panama, at the venue. Further details will be released of follow up screenings – should Thomas Tuchel’s side progress to the knockout stages of the tournament that is being hosted in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
On the website, promoting the attraction, the team state: “DJ John will have the music flowing to get you in the mood before kick off and keep the energy going all night. Watch all the action on four large screens, surrounded by fans, friends and family. Expect great vibes, big moments, and drinks flowing all night.”
Here are the schedule for England’s group stage screenings:
- Wednesday, June 17 – England v Croatia – 9pm kick off
- Tuesday, June 23 – England v Ghana – 9pm kick off
- Saturday, June 27 – England v Panama – 10pm kick off
