City return to Wembley a decade on from their last play-off victory
After days of fretting and worrying, Hull City fans are finally able to get their tickets booked for next weekend’s play-off final at Wembley Stadium against Southampton, which kicks off at 4:30pm.
City have been allocated 35,984 tickets in the east end of Wembley, which is the same side of the stadium the Tigers had in 2008 and 2016, when they beat Bristol City and Sheffield Wednesday to win promotion to the Premier League.
While some fans have reported some difficulty with the website on Friday morning, the majority of supporters have been able to get their tickets, with large areas of the lower bowl already being snapped up.
Tickets have gone on sale despite the ongoing uncertainty surrounding Southampton’s spying charge from the EFL, with an independent commission set to decide their punishment.
Here’s a look at all the current ticket and travel information
Ticket details and sales process
Wembley operate three pricing categories, which see adults, young adults (17-21) and concessions 2-16 and 65+), with prices starting at £37 in level five, rising to £105 in category one.
City members now have until 7am on Sunday morning to secure their tickets and are able to buy two tickets per membership, both online and in person, or over the phone.
From 8am on Sunday until 7am on Monday morning, fans who purchased tickets during the 2025/26 campaign will be able to buy two tickets online, before the ticket office opens at 8am both in person and online.
The final stage of ticket sales currently planned would see those who have a ticket-buying history in the 2024/25 and 2025/26 campaigns be able to buy tickets, but that depends on availability.
City’s designated singing section will be in the lower tier blocks 111 and 112.
Travel advice
Fans who want to buy coach tickets for return travel from the MKM Stadium should do so via the City webste, with prices costing £70 and leaving at 8:30am.
City have advised fans to book their tickets online where possible, using the link here. They’re also advising fans to travel on coaches, but official car parking is available at Wembley, priced at £70 per car and bookable here. City have been allocated Red parking at Wembley, which is adjacent to the Premier Inn Wembley Stadium hotel.
Hull Trains will be running services from Paragon Station to King’s Cross, and you can check timetables via their website here. From King’s Cross, fans can take the Underground Jubilee Line direct to Wembley Park.
What happens if the game is postponed?
Given the ongoing disciplinary proceedings surrounding Southampton, there remains a possibility the game could yet be moved. Fans have been directed to the EFL’s terms and conditions, which state a refund can be issued should it be moved and they cannot attend any potential re-arranged fixture. Hull Live understands Tuesday, May 26, would be a potential reserve date if required.
How about the fan parks?
City will be allocated the fan park at the east end of Wembley Stadium outside the turnstiles, and the club are preparing to announce the other official fan parks and City pubs around the area in the near future.
Play-off final merch?
Tiger Leisure has sprung into action over the past few days with a host of Wembley-themed merchandise going on sale. Fans can grab t-shirts, bucket hats, scarves, flags and various other bits and pieces. Tiger Leisure can be accessed right here.
