The trio will play on loan this weekend.
Hull FC have secured loan moves for young first-team players Callum Kemp, Lloyd Kemp, and Joe Phillips, with the trio set to play for fellow East Yorkshire club Goole Vikings against London Broncos at the Victoria Pleasure Ground this Saturday afternoon.
The loans are for one-week, and ensure the players get valuable game time in the Championship with no reserve game this weekend. For the Kemp twins, it will be welcome first-team action as they continue their development, while Phillips, who has battled back from a leg injury picked up in pre-season to feature for the reserves this year, will play for the club Hull signed him from last year.
All three players featured for Hull last Sunday for the second string outfit away at Bradford Bulls, where C.Kemp scored a hat-trick of tries in the 58-22 victory. The teenage half-back has also played three times for the first team this year, most recently against Catalans Dragons.
The trio will now try their luck for the Vikings, who are coached by club legend Scott Taylor. Former prop forward Liam Watts is also playing at the club, who have won two of their opening ten league games this season and sit 18th in the 20-club strong league,
A short club statement read: “Hull FC can confirm that Callum Kemp, Lloyd Kemp, and Joe Phillips have all joined Goole Vikings on a one-week loan. All three players will be available for selection for the Vikings’ clash against London Broncos this weekend.”
