City need one big push on Saturday to get back into the top six
Hull City will walk out in front of a sold-out MKM Stadium when they go in search of the victory that could see them finish the season in the Championship play-offs.
Three days ahead of the huge showdown with Norwich City, all home tickets have been sold, with fans eager to do their bit to roar on Sergej Jakirovic’s Tigers on what’s set to be a dramatic 46th and final Championship outing of the regular campaign.
City go into the game knowing victory gives them the best possibility of finishing above Wrexham, who host promotion-chasing Middlesbrough at The Racecourse, while Derby County are lurking a point behind and have a home meeting with Sheffield United.
The Tigers have gone six games without a win at the worst possible time, but Jakirovic will hope his side can find a first victory since beating Sheffield United at the end of March.
Despite being unable to challenge for a play-off, the in-form Canaries have all but sold out of their away allocation of around 2,300, which means the Tigers will have their biggest league crowd since last season.

It’s the first time in the league this season that the sold-out signs have gone up at the MKM Stadium, with the FA Cup visit of Chelsea the only other occasion the stadium has been full.
The Tigers have been averaging just over 21,000 across their previous 22 games in the Championship this term, which is the third successive season they’ve averaged around that figure.
After Saturday’s game has finished, the players and staff plan to acknowledge the backing of the fans this season with a lap of appreciation.
