Latest Hull and East Riding planning decisions and applications

  1. East Riding Council has received plans to demolish a property that is said to be at risk of falling into the sea. Plans say that 353 Seaside Road, Aldbrough, is at risk of coastal erosion due to its proximity to the cliff edge. The property will be demolished using an excavator.
  2. Plans for a new events pavilion to be erected at Burnby Hall Gardens in Pocklington have been submitted to East Riding Council. Plans say the pavilion could accommodate 100-130 people and would serve weddings and other events. The proposed new structure would link to the existing cafe and museum at the site.
  3. Hull City Council has received an application for 9 Princess Gardens to be used as a HMO. The property, which is currently used as a 3-bed house, will become a 4-bed HMO if plans are approved by the council. Submitted plans show the HMO would have a bedroom on the ground floor, with the other three being on the first floor.
  4. Plans for the first phase of Hull’s East Bank Urban Village have been submitted. The major riverside project is set to add around 800 new homes to the city. The project will be delivered in four phases over the next 15 years.
