Hull FC head to West Yorkshire to take on Wakefield Trinity in Super League round four this Thursday night, looking to put a tough couple of weeks behind them with a welcome and pressure reliving victory.

The Black Whites are one from three to start the league season, with back to back defeats coming at Wigan Warriors and against York Knights last week. Meanwhile, Wakefield – also below their expected level so far this year – have the same record, with a slender win over Huddersfield Giants sandwiched in between defeats to Toulouse Olympique and Warrington Wolves.

It’s a big game for both sides – despite the early nature of the year – with a win doing wonders for confidence, belief, and the like. Both clubs have big players back in their sides too – with Hull expecting to debut James Bell and Wakefield welcoming Mason Lino into the fold again. A tight contest is expected and if last year’s fixtures are anything to go by – four and six point wins for Hull – we could be going right down to the wire.

As always, we’ll have all the build up and team news, with live updates and post-match reaction to come. Stay tuned for all the action.
