The Spurn Lightship will reopen to visitors on Saturday, March 7 following a 14-month restoration. The reopening marks the start of the launch of the Hull Maritime project.

The ship, which once helped other vessels into the Humber, will tell the a piece of Hull’s rich maritime history as a floating museum in the city’s Marina. The leader of Hull City Council has described the vessel’s reopening as a “momentous moment” for Hull.
