Key Public Notices across Hull and East Yorkshire

  1. Staveley Road, Hull: From February 16, an order from Hull City Council will stop vehicles from driving along Staveley Road from the junction with the Barham Road roundabout, to the junction with Griffin Road. Despite the notice being able to be enforced for 18 months, it is said that the order will cease at the end of the works; which expected to be on February 27. The enforcement will be in place between 8am and 6pm. The order relates to works to install two telecoms chambers and duct. Read more.
  2. Main Street, Willerby: East Riding Council has given notice of an order which will prevent vehicles from driving along Main Street, Willerby, from the junction with Willerby Square Roundabout to a point south of Main Street Access to South View. The order bill commence on February 16 at 9am lasting until February 20 at 3pm to enable drainage works to be carried out. Read more.
  3. Main Street, Fraisthorpe: An East Riding Council order, which commenced on February 2 will prevent any vehicle from proceeding along part of Main Street, Fraisthorpe over Fraisthorpe Bridge and approximately 50 metres either side of the bridge. The order relates to the demolition of the existing bridge and the installation of a replacement. The work is expected to last until May 29. The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via Main Street, Sands Road, and A165 Bridlington Road. Read more.

Temple Lane, Carnaby: East Riding Council has made an order which prohibits any travel (vehicle, on foot, bicycle etc.) along part of Temple Lane, Carnaby from its junction with A614 Main Street northbound for approximately 20 metres. This will last from February 16 until March 6. Traffic lights will be also in place on A614 Main Street, Carnaby as part of this work. Read more.
