Good afternoon and welcome to another year of our coverage of Hull FC. It’s been a long time coming, but the Black and Whites are finally back in action this Sunday afternoon, taking on fellow Super League opposition in Huddersfield Giants for the their first game of the year.
Pre-season it may be, but theres a bit riding on the game for John Cartwright’s side, and for the club’s longest serving player Brad Fash, who celebrated his 30th birthday on Saturday and is now ready for his testimonial match. Debuting in the 2015 season, the prop forward has played for other ten years now at the club, racking up nearly 200 appearances. He’s as black and white as it gets and deserves the recognition today.
Elsewhere, Hull will field four new signings against the Giants, with Sam Lisone, Harvie Hill, Connor Bailey, and Arthur Romano getting run outs. They are joined by a squad largely made up of youth, with a chance for some bright up and coming talent to impress.
As always, we’ll have all the build up, live action, and post-match reaction from Brantingham Park, with the Black and Whites up and running in 2026.
