Here are the current and upcoming roadworks taking place across the Hull area
- A63 improvement scheme – St James Street to Market Place until 31/05/26. Major A63 Improvement scheme – full infrastructure change, operating under a Development Control Order which gives the powers to National Highways to implement this scheme. Lane and road closures until completion of scheme. (National Highways)
- Alfred Gelder Street until 01/02/26. Section 50 connection for District Heat. Two-way signals at the junction with Ghandi Way. Off-peak working only. (Hull City Council)
- Anlaby Road until 10/02/26. Replacing gas pipe at the junction of Anlaby Road to outside 700. Road closure in place. (Northern Gas Networks)
- Beverley Road until 30/01/26. Replacing gas pipe at the junction of Fountain Road to Station Drive. Contraflow in place. (Northern Gas Networks)
- Calvert Lane until 30/01.26. Replacing gas pipe at the junction of Anlaby Road. Multi-way signals in place. (Northern Gas Networks)
- Chapel Lane 26/01/26- 13/01/26. Mains connection at the junction of High Street. Road closure in place. Phased works, High Street to be open while Chapel Lane is closed. Weekday working only. Site clear at the weekends. (Northern Power Grid)
- Cottingham Road/Hall Road Roundabout 02/02/26-13/02/26. Carriageway resurfacing delivered in two phases, maintaining traffic flow between Hall Road and Fairfax Avenue with temporary signals. Throughout the durations of these works, access to Hotham Road North and Cottingham Road on both sides of the roundabout will be closed. (Hull City Council)
- Derringham Street until 29/01/126. Emergency works to repair burst water main opposite number 61. Two-way signals in place. (Yorkshire Water).
- High Street 26/01/26 – 13/02/26. Mains connection at the junction of Chapel Lane. Road closure in place. Phased works, Chapel Lane to be open while High Street is closed. Weekday working only. Site clear at the weekends. (Northern Power Grid)
- Holderness Road. 25/01/26. Rectify anti-skid. Lane closure in place. (MS3)
- Humber Dock Street 03/02/26-30/04/26. Public realm works, road closure in place. Works are to take place on the public right of way along Humber Dock Street between junctions with Blanket Row and Humber Street. (Hull City Council)
- Kesteven Way 29/01/26 – 30/01/26. Carriageway resurfacing on the roundabout connecting Kesteven Way, Blackwater Way and Kingsbury Way. Road closure in place 9.30am to 3.30pm only. (Hull City Council)
- Linnaeus Street until 27/01/26. Emergency works to repair burst water main at the junction of Anlaby Road. Road closure in place. (Yorkshire Water)
- Main Road until 13/02/26. Replacing gas pipe outside 9 to 93. Multi-way signals in place. (Northern Gas Networks)
- Marfleet Lane 26/01/26 – 30/01/26. Recycle existing footpath near the flyover. Multi-way signals in place. (Hull City Council)
- Mount Pleasant 26/01/26 – 30/01/26. Telecom pole swap at the junction of Holderness Road. Road closure in place. (8pm to 6am only). (Cornerstone Telecommunications)
- National Avenue until 11/02/26. Renew mains cable from the junction with Bontoft Avenue. Multi-way signals in place. (Norther Powergrid)
- Noddle Hill Way until 28/01/26. Emergency works to repair burst water main. Two-way signals in place. (Yorkshire Water)
- Princes Dock Street 03/02/26 – 30/04/26. Works are part of Hull Public Realm development scheme. Road closure in place. (Hull City Council)
- Scale Lane footbridge until 06/02/26. Investigation works to footbridge. There will be times when the footbridge is closed to pedestrians and cyclists with a short, signed diversion over the Millennium footbridge. (Hull City Council)
- Strickland Street until 26/01/26. Install new service connection near the junction of Fishermans Walk. Two-way signals in place. (Yorkshire Water)
