A premium padel company has its sight set on Hull for its latest opening – and it has given us a peek at how the sporting club will look. Vida Del Padel (VDP) already runs a number of clubs around the country where people of all ages have become hooked on the sport – the fast-paced racket sport which combines elements of tennis and squash and is currently the world’s fastest growing sport, according to the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA).
Now VDP is looking to add to its popular bases in Lincoln, Sheffield, Eston, Hartlepool, Guisborough and Chichester with a prime padel base in Hull. Bosses are pledging it will bring its distinctive mix of sport, wellness and social experiences to the city as well as some new features for the first time.
The new club will have four indoor padel courts, including two doubles courts, a singles court and a dedicated junior court, alongside a major new wellness offering that marks a first for the Vida Del Padel brand. For the first time, members and visitors will be able to access a dedicated Reformer Pilates studio with 12 beds and a hot room, alongside mat Pilates, yoga and breathwork sessions.
A physio room will further expand the club’s focus beyond padel and into wider health, fitness and recovery. The Hull opening is set to take place next month. And bosses say the opening reflects Vida Del Padel’s grand plans to create leisure destinations built around much more than simply booking a court.
Inspired by the social culture surrounding padel in Spain, its venues are designed to “bring together sport, fitness and community in an environment where people can play, train, socialise and spend leisurely time”. Alongside its padel and wellness facilities, the Hull venue will have male and female changing facilities with showers, heating and air conditioning, and a bar and café serving beer, soft drinks, coffee, cakes and snacks.
A separate lounge and social area will provide space for players and visitors before and after sessions, and the venue will also feature a media wall and free parking at both the front and rear of the site.
A programme of coaching and social sessions is being drawn up to cater to everyone, from complete beginners discovering padel for the first time through to more experienced players looking to develop their game and meet other players locally.

Community has always been at the heart of what we do, and the wider wellness offering allows us to give people even more reasons to spend time at the club. It also opens Vida Del Padel up to a broader audience, introducing people who may never have played padel before to our community and hopefully encouraging them to pick up a racket too.”
The Hull venue is scheduled to open in September 2026, with further details on the official opening date, bookings, introductory offers and launch activities to be announced.
