Classic Cars at Hesslewood is back this summer

Stunning vehicles, family entertainment and two incredible local charities will combine next month as Classic Cars at Hesslewood returns for a sixth year. Taking place on Sunday, August 16, from 10am until 3pm, at Hesslewood Office Park, Ferriby Road, Hessle, this much-loved community event is organised by Hesslewood Charitable Causes Fund.
As a 100 per cent not-for-profit event, this year it is supporting Humber Wellbeing Hub and Humber Rescue. Whether you are passionate about classic vehicles or just after a great family day out, there will be lots for visitors to enjoy.
Vehicle owners are invited to exhibit everything from classic cars, motorcycles, rally cars, supercars and scooters to modern icons. Advance exhibitor tickets are £5 per vehicle, which includes entry for the driver and all passengers, with the entire donation going to this year’s charities (tickets purchased on the day are £10 per display vehicle.)
Alongside the vehicles there will be inflatables, birds of prey displays and handling, a mobile petting farm, face painting, family lawn games, a wide range of local business stalls, delicious food and drink, raffles, music and announcements from Humber Wave Radio. There will also be chance to see Humber Rescue’s lifeboat and a Humberside Fire and Rescue fire engine up close.
Admission for visitors is £3 per person, with family tickets available for £10 (maximum two adults), and children under three go free. Every ticket sale supports this year’s causes.

Whether you’re displaying a vehicle, volunteering, running a stall or simply coming along for the day, you’re helping make a real difference.”
Whether you are exhibiting a cherished vehicle, bringing the family for a great day out, or simply calling in to enjoy the atmosphere, you will be helping support two remarkable local charities while enjoying one of the region’s most popular community events. While the charities provide very different services, together they provide support when people need it most.
From Humber Rescue’s immediate, life-saving response on the water, to Humber Wellbeing Hub’s longer-term support for mental health and wellbeing, every ticket sold and every vehicle displayed will help people before, during and after times of crisis.
