Hull City’s early-season home meeting with Aston Villa has been moved to accommodate Sky Sports coverage and will now kick off at a later time.
The MKM Stadium meeting with Unai Emery’s Villa will now get underway on Saturday, September 5, at 5:30pm instead of 3pm, as originally scheduled.
The visit of the Midlands club, who finished fourth in the Premier League last season, will be just the third game of the Tigers’ season, and second at home.

City kick off against Manchester United on August 22 in another televised contest live on TNT Sports, before going to newly promoted Coventry City the following weekend.
Villa then come to the East Riding, before City face successive away games at Chelsea and Newcastle United prior to the new-look international break, which lasts for three weeks.
After the trip to St James’ Park on September 19, the Tigers don’t play again until David Moyes’ Everton arrive at the MKM Stadium on October 10.
City’s last meeting with Villa came back in January 2019 when the two clubs shared a 2-2 draw in the Championship at Villa Park, but the Birmingham side were 3-1 winners in the Tigers’ backyard at the beginning of that season.
Their last meeting in the Premier League came in February 2015 when City were 2-0 winners over Villa at the MKM Stadium, thanks to goals from Nikica Jelavic and Dame N’Doye.
