Sezer is expected to leave Hull FC at the end of the season

Hull FC skipper Aidan Sezer is attracting interest from Super League teams after being offered out by the Black and Whites.
Hull Live reported last month that Sezer is expected to leave the Black and Whites at the end of the season, despite having one more year left on his deal with the club.
The half-back has struggled for form this season and with Steve McNamara set to come in at the end of the year, the club are looking to go in a different direction in the halves.
As such, his name has been circulated around Super League clubs and Hull Live understands that one of the clubs who have shown an interest is York Knights.
The Knights have struggled in the halves this season, something Saturday’s loss to Wigan Warriors typified, and they are looking at Sezer as a potential option going forward.
Sezer turns 35 this week, but he adds experience at the top level that York don’t currently have, having represented a host of clubs on both sides of the planet.
The half-back has made 41 appearances for Hull since joining the club last season, with his performances in 2025 seeing him come in for heaps of praise after returning to Super League to play under his former coach John Cartwright.
He even earned himself a new deal, committing himself to another year at the club beyond what he had previously signed.
However, he struggled to hit those heights on a regular basis this season and he was even dropped last month when Hull went to Leigh Leopards.
He started his career with Gold Coast Titans before going on to represent Canberra Raiders, Huddersfield Giants, Leeds Rhinos and Wests Tigers before his switch to west Hull.
