Hull City have been linked with a move for Fulham midfielder Sander Berge ahead of their first return to the Premier League in a decade.
Berge is currently away at the World Cup with Norway and is preparing for Tuesday’s Group I clash with Senegal in New Jersey, emerging as a well-respected top-flight midfielder since his move from Burnley to Craven Cottage in 2024.
The 28-year-old still has three years left on his contract at the Cottage, with Fulham having a 12-month option, but according to Sportsboom, he’s looking for a way out following the departure of Marco Silva. They claim the Tigers are keen on bringing the experienced performer to the MKM Stadium.
Silva, the ex-City head coach, has quit Fulham for Portuguese giants Benfica, and now, a flurry of players have been linked with exits from the West London outfit, who host the Tigers on October 17.

Berge amassed 35 top-flight appearances last season, building a reputation for being an impressive defensive midfield general and has appeared 132 times in the Premier League since arriving from Turf Moor in an initial £20m deal two years ago.
City are not the only club linked with the former Sheffield United ace, who played in Norway’s 4-1 win over Iran in their World Cup opener last week, with Everton also said to be in the mix.
Strengthening their engine room is a key priority this summer for City, having lost loanees John Lundstram and Amir Hadziahmetovic after their loan spells ended.
Eliot Matazo remains sidelined after sustaining another ACL injury in the defeat at Charlton Athletic in their penultimate game of the regular season. Manchester United youngster Toby Collyer remains a target for the Tigers, despite his struggles with injury in the second half of the campaign on loan with Sergej Jakirovic’s side.
