Three clubs are chasing the final play-off spot on Saturday afternoon
Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson admits one of his key demands ahead of their game at Coventry City on Sunday was at least to remain above Hull City on goal difference inside the play-offs.
City were beaten 2-1 at Charlton Athletic while the Red Dragons suffered a 3-1 loss against the champions, leaving Parkinson’s men one goal ahead of the Tigers going into the final weekend, with both sitting on 70 points.
Both clubs, along with rivals Derby County, are all at home on Saturday, with the promotion race fascinatingly poised and set for a flurry of drama.
City host in-form Norwich City, the Rams welcome struggling Sheffield United to Pride Park, and Wrexham will face Middlesbrough at the Racecourse, with all three kicking off at 12:30pm.

“After 45 games, we are in the mix, and it’s in our hands going into the last week of the season,” the ex-City boss said. “It’s all to play for next week. The lads have been brilliant over the 45 games, and now we’ve got an opportunity next week to get over the line.
“We will all be ready as a collective. We will just take care of our own business. It’s going to be a cracking atmosphere, and I am looking forward to the game. The aim now we’ve got this opportunity is to take it.
“We knew goal difference was important. We just had to make sure that we stayed in positive over Hull (City), obviously, whilst wanting to win the game.
“If you said you said to me one moment in the game, which is disappointing, it is conceding the third goal. But it is what it is, and we move on. We are still ahead of Hull on goal difference.”
