A body sadly found near a Hull park is that of a missing man who had not been seen for more than a month. Humberside Police issued an appeal for help to find 53-year-old Paulo earlier this week.
He had been reported as missing on Wednesday, April 8 with the last confirmed sighting on Saturday, March 14 in the area of Kingswood Retail Park. The body was discovered on Thursday afternoon (April 16).
In a statement today, a Humberside Police spokesperson said: “The body has been recovered from the area, and we can now confirm the body to be that of missing 53-year-old Paulo, who was reported missing on Wednesday, 8 April 2026.
“Paulo’s family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers. Our thoughts remain with them at this difficult time.
“Enquiries remain ongoing to establish the circumstances around his death, which is not being treated as suspicious at this time.”
