The exciting winger will hope for a successful international break over the next couple of weeks
Hull City loanee Lewis Koumas has praised the influence of Wales boss Craig Bellamy as he prepares to link up with his country next week for a huge World Cup play-off clash.
Koumas, who is on loan with City from Liverpool, has enjoyed a bright start to his Tigers career with three goals since his move from Anfield.
The 20-year-old winger will be hoping to sign off from domestic duties with a winning performance this weekend when the Tigers host bottom-side Sheffield Wednesday in a crucial Championship encounter, looking to bounce back to their shock 3-0 loss at struggling West Brom.

Since arriving at City in January following a frustrating first half of the season at Birmingham City, Koumas has played in all 10 games, and his start at The Hawthorns was his fourth in the last five games, meaning he’ll arrive on international duty in good shape.
After being named in the latest squad, Koumas will come up against City teammate Amir Hadziahmetovic in what’s effectively a play-off semi-final against Bosnia in Cardiff next Thursday, and should Craig Bellamy’s side come through that, they’ll face either Italy or Paddy McNair’s Northern Ireland in a final shoot-out for a place at this summer’s World Cup.
Bellamy has played a big part in helping the youngster blossom on the international stage, with him handing Koumas seven of his nine senior caps
“It’s a massive campaign. We’re all looking forward to it, and hopefully we’ll get the job done,” he told BBC Radio Wales. “Hopefully, I can make an impact and get put in.”
“He’s done a lot for me. I really, really love Bellers as a person and as a coach. He’s helped me a lot and hopefully he can continue to help me in the future.”
