Hull FC host York Knights this Friday night and are boosted with the return of three key players.

Hull FC loose forward John Asiata will make his first appearance of the season off the bench against York Knights this Friday night, with the influential vice captain one of three welcome returns to the matchday line up at the MKM Stadium.

Asiata, deemed fit enough to play after hamstring surgery this off-season, is joined by Jake Arthur, who is set for his first Super League run out after his Challenge Cup debut. The half-back has missed both league games so far with a hamstring strain. Zak Hardaker is also included after a minor ankle issue.

However, it’s Davy Litten who takes the full-back spot, with the young gun getting the first crack at replacing the injured Will Pryce, who devastatingly ruptured his ACL at Wigan last Saturday night and is expected to miss the rest of the 2026 season. Litten, of course, played his community and junior rugby league at full-back and also played there in the cup win at Salford earlier this month.

On the wings, Harvey Barron and Lewis Martin keep their spots, while Hardaker and in-form Arthur Romano take the centre positions. Arthur is joined at half-back by club captain Aidan Sezer.

Up front, Liam Knight and Harvie Hill start as the two prop forwards, with Amir Bourouh at hooker. In the back row, Connor Bailey lines up against his former club for the first time, with Jed Cartwright also named. Yusuf Aydin takes the loose-forward spot.

Asiata is joined on the bench by Cade Cust, Sam Lisone, and Brad Fash. Matty Laidlaw is the 18th man.
