Luton Town have signed Hull City midfielder Kasey Palmer on loan for the rest of the season.

The 29-year-old Jamaica international has made 11 appearances for the Tigers in 2025-26 – nine of them in the Championship.

He joins a Luton side currently seventh in League One and outside the play-off places on goal difference only.

Palmer previously worked under assistant boss Chris Powell when he was a youngster at Charlton Athletic before he joined Chelsea’s academy, and has also played for Bristol City and Coventry.

“Kasey gives you experience and know-how in important moments, like when we’ve dominated games but haven’t been able to see it over the line,” said Luton manager Jack Wilshere.

“He’s had pressure on him from a young age, when he left Charlton as a 16-year-old. Chris Powell was the manager who tried to convince him to stay there, but Chelsea came in and he played in their youth team that won everything.

“He can play in all the positions across the midfield, and with his physicality, he can give us more balance in the squad and ability to rotate, especially when you consider the run of games we’ve got coming up and their importance.”
