Hull KR have confirmed a 10-player departure list following the conclusion of their 2026 Super League campaign, with Tevita Pangai Junior and Ryan Hampshire among those set to leave the club.

Pangai Jr arrived at Sewell Group Craven Park in May following a stint in French rugby union, having previously made a late U-turn on a deal with Warrington Wolves for the 2026 Super League campaign.

However, injuries and suspension have limited the forward to just five appearances for the Robins under head coach Willie Peters.

He will be joined by fellow overseas forward Rhyse Martin, who departs after two seasons with the club following his move from Leeds Rhinos. The Papua New Guinea international is set to join incoming NRL franchise the PNG Chiefs as Football Operations Manager after bringing his playing career to an end.

Playmaker Hampshire will also leave Rovers following a short spell in East Hull. The ex-Wigan, Leigh, Castleford and Wakefield man earned a permanent short-term contract after impressing during a trial earlier this year and went on to make eight appearances, featuring at full-back and in the halves.

Jack Brown departed earlier in the season to join Castleford Tigers, while Leon Ruan is set to make his move to Bradford Bulls permanent from 2027.

Joe Burgess has agreed an early release from his contract after an impressive spell, including earning an England recall after a decade in 2025.

Academy products Zach Fishwick, Alfie Petty and Alfie Woods will also leave at the end of 2026, alongside winger Lee Kershaw.

Rovers will also bid farewell to three members of their backroom staff: senior athletic performance coach Harry Coyle, rugby operations coordinator Sue Thompson and kit and equipment manager Alan Fellows.

Thompson has been part of Hull KR’s backroom team for more than 15 years, while Fellows will bring an end to a 29-year association with his boyhood club.
