Millar has left the club on a season-long loan
Hull City have allowed Liam Millar to join Championship club Birmingham City on loan until the end of the season.
Millar scored the winner on Saturday at Coventry City to give the Tigers their second win of the Premier League campaign but ultimately that will be his final contribution for the club this season after making the switch to St Andrew’s.
The Canada international was far from guaranteed the game time he craved within Sergej Jakirovic’s squad and with wing reinforcements on the way in the shape of Sorba Thomas, Millar has been allowed to leave.
The winger joins Birmingham, who at the time of writing sit ninth in the Championship table, having one won and drawn two of their opening three games.

He’ll be eager to prove a point in the second city, too, by helping Chris Davies’ side to promotion to the Premier League, a year after achieving the feat with the Tigers.
Millar can be expected to make his Blues debut when Birmingham host local rivals Wolves this weekend.
“Liam is a proven Championship performer who has significant experience at this level,” said Blues boss Chris Davies.
“It was an area of the pitch where we wanted to strengthen, and Liam fits the profile we were looking for. He has shown consistently that he can perform in the Championship and contribute to successful teams, and he also has a wealth of experience from his international career.
“He’s had a really strong start to this season as well, so he comes here in good form and with a real appetite to want to come and play for Birmingham City.
“We’re delighted to have him on board and are looking forward to working with him.”
Millar won’t be the only man leaving the MKM Stadium this evening with Cody Drameh moving to Genoa, while the club look to offload a handful of other fringe players.
