The car show attracted swarms of guests in May, so it’s coming back on Sunday 6 September

Burton Constable will be welcoming classic car lovers back this September for a repeat of its successful Classic Car Show that attracted scores of visitors over the May Bank Holiday. The May show attracted bumper crowds and now visitors will have another chance to experience the nostalgia of an impressive collection of classic cars and motorcycles, all set against the backdrop of Burton Constable Hall and its parkland.
Organised in partnership with the East Yorkshire Thoroughbred Car Club, which has held its rally at Burton Constable since 2005, the show brings together a collection of rarely seen vehicles from across the decades. Expect beautifully preserved classics to vehicles that stir memories of motoring days gone by. The Lotus Owners Club will also be joining the event with a special display.
Alasdair Hutson, chief executive of the Burton Constable Foundation, said: “The response to our Classic Car Show over the May Bank Holiday was incredible. It was our most successful car show to date, and it was brilliant to see so many people enjoying the remarkable collection of vehicles and the atmosphere throughout the day. We’re delighted to be welcoming the show back this September. There’s something about classic cars that brings generations together, whether you’re a lifelong enthusiast or simply enjoy seeing these wonderful vehicles up close. We’re looking forward to another memorable day and to welcoming back familiar faces, as well as those joining us for the first time.”
There will be food and drink stalls available throughout the day alongside refreshments from the Stables Kitchen. Visitors can also try their hand at Have A Go Archery. The Classic Car Show takes place from 10am to 3pm on Sunday 6 September 2026 and is included with normal admission to Burton Constable.
