Logan Moy has been rewarded with a new deal
Hull FC full-back Logan Moy.
Hull FC full-back Logan Moy has penned a contract extension with the Black and Whites following his impressive run in the side.
Moy was under contract for next season but he has committed to another year with the club, ensuring he is now signed up until the end of the 2028 campaign.
The 21-year-old has made 18 appearances for the club this season with three tries coming along the way. As such, he has now made 44 outings for his hometown club over the course of his career and he’s expected to add to that tally this weekend when FC take on Catalans Dragons in Perpignan.
The extended deal means he’ll be sticking around at the MKM Stadium for another couple of seasons to compete with Bailey Hodgson and potentially Will Pryce in the number one role.
“I am loving my time at my boyhood club so far, so to extend my contract by a further year was an absolute no-brainer,” Moy told the club.
“I think I said when I signed my last contract in 2024 that it was my dream since I was a little kid to represent Hull FC, and living out that dream over the past two years has been an incredible experience.
“There’s still a lot for me to work on in my game, but I’m incredibly excited for the opportunity to work under Steve (McNamara) and keep developing under him over the next few years. His experience and knowledge will get the best out of us as a squad, and us younger players in particular as he knows what it takes to come through this system and succeed as a Hull FC player.”
Hull FC chief executive Richie Myler, said: “We are really pleased with Logan’s continued development in 2026 and the strides he is making in his game.
“He is a bright, local talent, and a player that the juniors in our pathway can look up to as an example of what is achievable at this club with desire and commitment.
“We know there is still a lot more to come from Logan in 2027 and beyond, and we’re confident that he will thrive even more in a fresh new environment we are developing here at the club.
“Securing his services for an additional year on top of his previous deal is a smart piece of business, because he is only going to get better year on year.”
