A seaside resort is preparing to celebrate Christmas at the height of summer.
Bridlington, on the East Yorkshire coast, is promising a packed programme of festive entertainment on Wednesday.
The town has celebrated “Bridmas Day” in August for the past three years. The idea is to highlight what the town has to offer all year round.
Visitors will be able to meet Santa on the beach, complete a Christmas cracker trail and listen to live, festive music.
