Chloe Harmer and six of her friends partied through the night until their midday flight home

A group of seven girlfriends flew to Ibiza for a 24-hour holiday – and partied all night so they didn’t have to book a hotel. Chloe Harmer, 21, and six of her friends decided to celebrate one of their 21st birthday with a quick trip to Ibiza, Spain.

The girls realised they would be able to cost-cut by not getting a hotel, and instead partied through the night until their midday flight back to Manchester Airport. They left on a £90 return flight at 12pm – arriving in Ibiza Airport, Ibiza at 4pm local time.

They got dolled up in the airport bathroom and left their backpacks in rental lockers before heading to popular club Pacha. They spent all night dancing then went for an early morning swim in the sea before grabbing a taxi back to the airport.

Chloe, a social media manager from Hull, Yorkshire, said: “It was literally so much fun. I was worried we might crash, but everyone was on such good form. Any time anyone asks me about it I tell them they have to try it!”

Chloe and her friends flew out on May 20, grabbing their flights just a week earlier. They woke up at 6am to get their train from Leeds to Manchester to get to the airport on time.

Chloe said: “The whole first leg went pretty easily. We got in on time and even got ready in the Ibiza airport bathroom which was surprisingly clean! Then we dropped our bags off at a rental locker before heading out for dinner.”

They grabbed food and cocktails at the Golden Buddha restaurant but not before going to get matching tattoos to commemorate the trip. After dinner they went bar hopping along a nearby strip before taxiing to popular Ibiza club Pacha, where they had tickets for entry – costing £18 each.

Multiple Monster Energy and vodka mixers later, they stumbled out of the closing club at 7am and headed to the beach for a sunrise swim. Chloe said: “I was so surprised at how awake I felt.

“I thought for sure one of us would crash, because anyone would! But I think the energy drinks helped keep us alive.”

After a lounge on the beach, the group went for brunch and readied themselves for the journey ahead. At 10am, an Uber picked them up for the airport and they got a 12:30pm flight back to Manchester – sleeping on the plane.

Chloe was back at home in her bed by 6:30pm, just 36 hours after she left. She said: “It was so perfect- and I still felt awake when I got in. We did manage to all sleep on the flight back, so I think that helped. But I was also just buzzing from how fun a trip it was.”
