The new Reeds Rains site becomes part of a wider Yorkshire franchise network

A Hull estate agency has changed hands leading to a new opening on a major Hull thoroughfare. Kaye’s Estate Agents on Newland Avenue has been rebranded to Reeds Rains following a deal between former owner Neil Kaye and a new franchise partner.
The move saw Mr Kaye hand over the established branch to new manager, Paul Rogers and his team. Mr Kaye decided to sell the business and retire following a more than 20-year career. Paul Rogers, owner of Reeds Rains franchise partner Rogers Stewart, and Zeta Pinchbeck, operations director, say they are committed to continuing the service established at Kaye’s Estate Agents.
Mr Stewart’s existing seven Reeds Rains branches and Your Move branch are located across Yorkshire and Teesside. This acquisition also includes a significant fully managed lettings portfolio transferring to the new branch.
Paul Rogers said “We are delighted to be opening the doors to Reeds Rains Newland following the acquisition of Kaye’s Estate Agents, marking an exciting new chapter. Neil built a strong, trusted business in Hull and we are proud to continue that legacy under the Reeds Rains brand.

Customers at Reeds Rains Newland will now benefit from the wider Reeds Rains service, including access to the online customer portal, MyReedsRains and a network of branches across the region and beyond through LSL Estate Agency Franchising.

LSL’s estate agency franchise division is the second largest franchise group in the UK. In recent years it has moved to a franchise model having previously operated a network of more than 180 branches.
Earlier this year the group acquired property search specialist National Search Service and three further lettings books – developing what it called a healthy pipeline of lettings book acquisitions to fuel its growth. Reeds Rains traces its roots back to 1868 when Samuel Rains started a rent collection business in Manchester.
